Orchid fitness has closed the classes held at Huntingfield HUB ,which I had re started , until further notice .I will be back as soon as it is allowed.
I know that exercise can help to keep us well. Pilates can help you to remain strong ,supple and provide a good base for the other exercise you do. Walking , running or cycling in the beautiful Suffolk countryside is an easy way to boost my mood, even on a cold or windy day.
I have been doing a challenge recently and have raised money for the Poppy Appeal. Since Nov 1st, each day I have completed 11 mins of exercise. I chose 3 different exercises and repeated them in a round either for 11 seconds each or 11 reps . I have raised over £130 to date.
I am thrilled with the amount and am very grateful for the support.
Here is a tip to try :
Take 5 mins to connect with your body. Stand, sit or lie down and focus on breathing in for a count of 5 and out for a count of 5 . Work on trying to keep other thoughts out of your mind and calm the body down.
